Course Management System
Full-stack web application for course registration, grade tracking, and professor communication.
The Challenge
The university's existing course registration system was outdated, slow, and prone to errors during peak enrollment periods. Students struggled to find available courses, professors had no easy way to manage grades.
My goal was to build a modern, intuitive platform that could handle peak registration traffic while giving all stakeholders real-time visibility into courses, grades, and academic progress.
What We Built
We designed and developed a complete course management system from scratch:
- Student portal for course browsing, registration, and schedule management
- Professor dashboard for grade entry, attendance tracking, and student communication
- Admin panel for course creation, enrollment management, and reporting
- Real-time notifications for registration deadlines and grade updates
- Responsive design working on desktop and mobile
Results
The system reduced course registration time from hours to minutes. Professors saved 5+ hours per week on administrative tasks. The administration gained real-time insights into enrollment trends.
